HOLIDAYS, VACATION AND SICK DAYS
Bright Ideas strives to maintain affordable pricing and financial stability. In doing so, we do not have a vacation and sick day program. You will be charged for absent days and closed holidays. Bright Ideas is closed on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. For more detailed information please see our Parent Handbook.

ENROLLMENT AND DISENROLLMENT PROCEDURES
Bright Ideas does not discriminate on the basis of color, race, sex,
creed handicap, political persuasion, religion or national origin.
Enrollment and disenrollment procedures are outlined in detail in
the Parent Handbook.

CHARGES, FEES AND PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS
Rates are posted on the Parent Information Board and in the Parent
Handbook. Monthly fee agreements will be electronically withdrawn
for your account. Payments can be accepted in cash, check or by
credit card.

CHILD ADMISSION AND RELEASE REQUIRMENTS
All adults must sign their child into the program by using the
designated sign in/out books and on procare. Children will not be released to any adult unless there is written authorization on their enrollment from the parent or guardian and the adult shows a picture ID.

TRANSPORTATION
Bright Ideas does not provide any transportation at this time.

DISCIPLINE AND GUIDANCE
We use positive, age-appropriate guidance to help children learn and practice appropriate behaviors. Consistent schedules, routines, and clear expectations give children a sense of security and help them develop self-regulation skills. Our approach focuses on teaching rather than punishing, and detailed guidance strategies are outlined in the Parent Handbook.

FIELD TRIPS
Because Bright Ideas does not provide any form of transportation,
off-site field trips are not provided. The program brings guest
programs and activities on-site. Parents are notified in advance of
special activities.

PARENT PARTICIPATION AND ACCESSIBILITY TO THE PREMISES
Bright Ideas encourages parent participation as outlines in the
Parent Handbook. Enrolled parents and guardians have an “open
door” policy and are welcome to access the premises at any time.

PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES
At Bright Ideas, children participate in a variety of age-appropriate activities designed to support their growth and curiosity. Our curriculum includes creative arts, building and manipulatives, dramatic play, early science exploration, music, movement, and language development. We also celebrate special holidays with fun events and activities that involve both children and their families.

LIABILITY INSURANCE
Bright Ideas carries liability insurance required by Arizona Statute
R9-5-308. The policy is available to review upon request.

Medication
Bright Ideas does not administer medications unless it is a life
threatening condition such as a breathing treatment or eppi-pen.
Parents must sign medication consent forms for those medications
that are to be dispensed. Medication is kept in a locked box and
cannot be accessed by the children. Only trained, designated staff
members can administer medication.

ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
Emergency procedures are posted in every classroom. Parents are
given a written accident report for any injury received while on the
premises. Detailed accident procedures are listed in the Parent
Handbook.

INSPECTION REPORTS
All inspection reports are available on-site in the director’s office
and can be reviewed upon request. Inspection reports are also
available online at https://www.azdhs.gov/

A notice will be posted on the Parent Board 72 hours prior to
pesticide being applied on the premises.
